Site Updates

DoomRitual has been running for quite a while now and I'm quite pleased with what I've done. But I've always felt there should be more. More of everything. More paintings, more comics, more visitors etc. But  increasingly I've come to feel that what's really missing is me. It's my creation, yet it feels anonymous,. I guesss I don't really communicate much.

So Doodlings is a sort of a blog element to the site where I can show you some of the concepts and ideas that eventually make it to the web pages. Right now it's just experimental. If you like it I'll keep it going and update regularly.

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to those of you that donated to the DoomRiTuaL cause in the last month. I'm astonished and humbled by your generosity.

Well happy new year everyone.

It's been about two months since Nightstalker finished now and I've used the time to reflect on the last year and the conclusion is I'm not happy. As I look back on my gallery I can see I've fallen into a rut of semi nude big breasted women. I'll be honest, it's not the way I intended and I mean to rectify it (good intentions - let's see how long it lasts).

Made a number of software updates today and was rewarded with a bit of spam which I've removed and hopefully fixed the problem that let it through in the first place. I hate spam!!!!

I guess I can't do everything - check out the new latest feature in the panel to your right. I was deparate to get this finished so Nightstalker took a back seat this week.

The Concept

So we have a new concept for the site that gives members a chance to make a greater contribution. This is called the Book of Woe.

The idea is that you as a member can write a biography based on your Doomritual user that fits within the mythos or world of the Sundered Land (to refresh your memory, the Sundered Land is a continent cast adrift in space and time from which the inhabitants cannot escape and in which hordes of demons battle ot out for supremacy with the human population caught in the middle).

You can write anything you like as long as it's within the context of the Sundered Land, you can even upload pictures. Your work will form a page in a book of biographies written by other members. You can see some pages already to give you an idea of what I had in mind but use your imaginationa and see where it takes you. Have fun.

So how do you do it?

Click the 'My Account' menu option and go to Edit and then User Data. Simply write what you want in the Book of Woe Profile box and then tick the Publish check box and you're done. You can unpublish by unticking the box and edit any time you like.

Final Note

This is a trial and I may end it if it's not working out. You are trusted to contribute content that follows the theme of the Sundered Land in the spirit in which it was intended (although that's actually pretty broad since the link could be quite tenuous). But I reserve the right to remove content I feel is not suitable.

So the poll stats have been consistent since the start with about 90% wanting more nudity. I guess if you ask a stupid question...
