Drupal Experiences

Well I'm pretty pleased I've made the switch from joomla to drupal. I'm sure joomla will catch up, but right now the flexibility within the drupal architecture in terms of category management makes it a winner. But why are so many great modules not part of the core. Pathauto, views and panels add huge flexibility and should be core but instead you're left to go hunting around for what are really essential functions. No wonder people are put off going with drupal. Joomla by contrast appears to do more to get your site up and running in minimal time. that's hugely appealing to the novice. Anyway - I'm not changing again. no way. drupal forever. no honest, really
