About this Site

So what’s it really all about?
 
It started as a few pages of html. Just somewhere on the internet to call my own and display a few of my paintings. But it’s sort of grown and is starting to develop into something else.

Now we have the Sundered Land. A world trapped in limbo and inhabited by warring demons. You will find some comic strip pages here that tell a story or a snippet of a story against this backdrop. Slowly doomritual is turning into a webcomic of sorts about the characters that inhabit this world and told from multiple perspectives.

Here are some key principles by which Doomritual is developed 
 

• No advert bombardment or endless pop-ups. In fact there are no pop-ups. Sure there are a couple of sales links, but I think you’ll agree they are subtle. No one is pushing anything in your face here. I want this place to be a pleasant surfing experience for you. Tell me if it isn’t.

• I want to keep the quality of the pages as high as I can. The downside of course is that it’ll take longer so I apologize now for the slow turn out of material
•  
• you will find over time that everything starts linking to everything else. A snippet of a story you read today, could be woven into a bigger story tomorrow. You might find that reading the same story for a second time, there is an extra thread to the story that wasn’t there before. This is a living entity where older pages may revisted and edited.
•  
• (and finally). There’s you! Sign up and become a registered member. Ultimately some of the content you see today and some future content will only be available to registered users. This site has a forum – use it. Get involved, add your voice and bring Doomritual to life.
