Elf in Ruins - a Work in Progress

So I thought I'd post a work in progress diary type thing of an elf standing amidst ruins.You can see the final piece here

This is the initial sketh with some colour chucked onto it. Pretty rough at this stage.

I'll try and post new images as I work this up to the finished product. Throw your ideas at me and I'll see if I can weave them in.

Worth noting though that for every picture I start I only decide to finish a tenth of them. I need to feel excited from beginning to end of a personal project otherwiese there's no incentiove for me to finish it. Got a good feeling about this one ...

Ideas for a Nightstalker costume...

One of the big questions for me is whether Sarah from the Nightstalker comic should have a costume. She was always meant to. Well actually she was meant to be a human who hunted demons. I'm not sure how I got from that to turning her into a naked demon.

Anyway, I keep toying with the concept. Here's a bunch of sketches as to what I thought the costume might look like. I imagined it to be mostly metal. perhaps armour plates or chainmail. With some leather thrown in.
