Book Of Woe

Greetings!

I am the Archivist. I am a servant of the Mighty Demon, our lord and master who is affectionaltely known as bAdVibe. I am is aide, his mouthpiece and dispatcher of Doom.

I have taken it upon myself to chronicle this Sundered Land in which we live that you might know it better. That you might perhaps understand our plight and give sympathy and prayers to our cause. I take strength from the very hope that this is so.

I was human once, so long ago now. I was born of human parents of course, but long exposure to the presence of the Demon has tainted my soul. The Eternal Flame seeps from my eyes since my frail body cannot hold onto it but it has nevertheless blackened my soul. Lesser mortals walk in fear of me now. I am alone.

Now I exist only to serve Him. And when I die, he shall consume me. I am therefore nothing, but his to control. I used to long for death. That was decades past when I last felt desire. There is nothing here now except the ruined husk and soul of a man. How long shall I endure I wonder? Centuries more . Centuries more of this living death....
